How did it get to August so quickly? Here in Design@HEART-land, the summer seems to be flying by. But we’ve got all our stallholders lined up for our Autumn fairs, and most of the initial admin done, so it’s time for a bit of a break from fair organising.
Those of you who attended the June fair may remember that I rather foolishly broke my leg just before the doors opened. I would like to thank everyone for just getting on with it, while I went to A&E. It’s taking a very long time to heal, but it seems to be going in the right direction, so I should be fit and well by the end of the month. But it’s a sobering reminder that we are not unbreakable and for that reason I am definitely taking a breather now. I will be concentrating on my own art and some gentle gardening for the rest of the summer now.
I’m really looking forward to catching up with some Design@HEART stalwarts and to welcome new stallholders in November. We’ve got a really good variety of stalls awaiting you. And of course, we are joining with HEART’s weekend-long Christmas extraveganza in December too, so there will be a double wammy this year!
